Mr. Tasnim Noorani,
Former Secretary Interior, Government of
Pakistan and Consultant of the World Bank,
visited the Regional Tax Office, Karachi. He
had a very detailed meeting with 16 officers
belonging to the Customs and the Income Tax
Group, who had availed the opportunity under
the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP)
to receive education at prominent
universities all over the world. The
beneficiaries of this programme gave a
candid feed back about the utility and
effectiveness of the program on their
professional careers. Mr. Noorani was also
briefed about the working of the functional
units of Regional Tax Office by the Director
General, Mr. Asrar Raouf. He was highly
appreciative of the modern and effective
working techniques. He expressed gratitude
at the warmth and hospitality of the RTO
