Seminars of E-Filing of Returns / Statements.
Regional Tax Office, Sukkur organized two Seminars on e-filing of Returns and Withholding statements on 17th Oct and 21st Oct, 2011 at State Bank of Pakistan, Sukkur and Chamber of Commerce & Industries Sukkur respectively. These seminars were organized with the collaboration of State Bank of Pakistan, Small & Medium Enterprises Developments Authorities (SMEDAs) and Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Sukkur. In the seminar of 17th Oct at State Bank of Pakistan, about fifty participants attended the training, which included the Managers of various bank branches and Managers of SMEDA in the region. The seminar was presided by Mr. Muhammad Riaz, the Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Sukkur. Mr. Nasir Ali Rizvi Manager PRAL, made presentation on e-filing of Returns & Statements. All the participants highly appreciated the facilitation drive initiated by the FBR. They thanked the Chief Commissioner for his efforts to give training on e-filing to various organizations at their door steps.
2. The second seminar on 21st Oct at the Sukkur Chamber of Commerce & Industries was presided by Mr. Muzaffar Ali Soomro, Additional Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Sukkur. The presentation was made by Mr. Nasir Ali Rizvi Manager PRAL. About 30 members and office bearers of the Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Sukkur attended the seminar. The participants found the seminar very beneficial and educative on e-filing. Various questions on legal & technical issues were raised by the participants and replied. The Chamber requested to hold such seminars/gatherings frequently for better understanding and interaction between the taxpayers and tax collectors.
3. The Chief Commissioner assured them of facilitation and education on e-filing and all tax matters. He thanked the Participants for their interest and active participation in the seminar.
