WORKSHOP ON SALES TAX LAW AND PROCEDURES AT THE REGIONAL TAX OFFICE RAWALPINDI ON 20TH FEBRUARY 2012.
Under the personal patronage of Mrs. Raana Seerat, Director General (HRM), FBR, Islamabad a workshop on Sales Tax Law and Procedures was held at Regional Tax Office Rawalpindi under the supervision of Mr. Shahid Anwar Khan, Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Rawalpindi, on 20th February 2012.
The workshop was attended by the officers nominated from the Regional Tax Offices of Rawalpindi and Islamabad as well as from Large Taxpayers’ Unit, Islamabad. Chief Commissioner welcomed the attendants of the workshop at RTO, Rawalpindi being the host. DG HRM deliberated upon the importance and vitality of the workshop. Mr. Shafqat Hayat Hotiana, Additional Commissioner, Lahore, the resource person briefed in detail every topic in three sessions of two hours each and the participants took active part in every interactive session of the workshop. The workshop was of immense importance keeping in view the contents and spirit contained therein.
In the end of the workshop, Mr. Shahid Anwar Khan, Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Rawalpindi appreciated the participants for their zealous partaking and specially thanked Mrs. Raana Seerat, DG. HRM for her deep concern with respect to the capacity building of the Human Resource of FBR.
