The Planning Monitoring & Evaluation Cell (PM&EC) was established in FBR (HQ) in April 2007 – ECNEC decision
The PM&EC in FBR was transferred to the non-development budget w.e.f. 01.07.2013. Major responsibilities of PM&EC are:
Preparation of Master Plans and conceptual drawings
Vetting PWD designs, drawings and BOQs
Evaluation of cost and quantities in the PC-Is
Frequent monitoring and evaluation of projects
Obtaining Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (PMES)
Online dissemination of project details to Planning & Finance Divisions
