As a part of various reform initiatives and in pursuance to the special instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman, Federal Board of Revenue has constituted a committee for timely designing/finalization and simplification of Income Tax Return forms for individuals, AOPs and companies for tax year 2021. While departing from the previous practice, the FBR aims at designing the return forms in much advance so that forms are available to the taxpayers on the very first day of the tax year. The committee shall be chaired by Member (IR-Policy) whereas Chief Information Officer, Chiefs of Inland Revenue Operations & Inland Revenue Policy and Second Secretary, Domain Business Team (DBT) of FBR's Information Technology Wing would be member of the committee.
The committee aims at simplifying the income tax return forms to the best possible extent besides developing the return forms that require least possible interventions on year to year basis. International best practices shall be a guiding principle for the committee. The idea behind this endeavor is to facilitate the taxpayer and make the income tax return form more user-friendly and free from unnecessary complications. In order to make this initiative more fruit bearing and result oriented, FBR through a separate communication has requested the ICAP, ICMAP, Pakistan Tax Bar Associations and various Chambers of Commerce and Industry to give their input for designing a simplified version of the returns. ٹیکس سال 2021 کے ریٹرن فارمز کو سادہ اور آسان بنانے کے لئے کمیٹی تشکیل
وزیراعظم کی ہدایات کی تعمیل میں اور ایف بی آر میں اصلاحاتی اقدامات کے تسلسل کو جاری رکھتے ہوئے چیئرمین ایف بی آر نے ٹیکس سال 2021 کے لئے افراد، ایسوسی ایشن آف پرسنز اور کمپنیوں کے لئے انکم ٹیکس ریٹرن فارمز کو آسان اور سادہ بنانے کے لئے کمیٹی تشکیل دے دی ہے۔ ایف بی آر نے ٹیکس سال 2021 سے قبل کمیٹی کی تشکیل کی ہے تا کہ ٹیکس سال 2021 کے پہلے دن سے ہی نیا آسان اور سادہ انکم ٹیکس ریٹرن فارم دستیاب ہو سکے۔ ممبر آئی آر پالیسی کمیٹی کی صدارت کریں گے جبکہ چیف انفارمیشن افسر ، چیف آئی آر آپریشنز و چیف آئی آر پالیسی اور ایف بی آر کے آئی ٹی ونگ کے سیکنڈ سیکریٹری کمیٹی کے ممبران ہوں گے۔
تشکیل شدہ کمیٹی انکم ٹیکس ریٹرن فارمز کو جس حد تک ہو سکے گا آسان اور سادہ بنانے کی کوشش کرے گا اور اس طرح کا انکم ٹیکس ریٹرن فارم مرتب کیا جائے گا کہ ہر سال کم سے کم تبدیلی کرنی پڑے۔ کمیٹی اس حوالے سے بین الاقوامی بہترین رائج طریقہ کار کو مد نظر رکھے گا۔ کمیٹی کی تشکیل کا مقصد یہ ہے کہ ٹیکس گزاروں کو سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں اور ٹیکس ریٹرن فارمز میں غیر ضروری پیچیدگیوں کو دور کیا جا سکے۔ اس اقدام کے بہترین نتائج حاصل کرنے کے لئے ایف بی آر نے ایک دوسرے مراسلہ میںICAP,ICMAP،پاکستان ٹیکس بار ایسوسی ایشن اور مختلف چیمبرز آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹریز سے ٹیکس ریٹرن فارمز کو مزید سہل بنانے سے متعلق تجاویز بھی طلب کر لی ہیں۔ ایف بی آر ہیڈکوارٹر میں تعینات سیکنڈ سیکریٹری انکم ٹیکس پالیسی ای میل saidiqbaltax321@gmail.comاور فیکس نمبر 051-9218298 پر تجاویز وصول کریں گے۔
