December 9, 2025: Collectorate of Customs (Appraisement), Faisalabad has successfully intercepted a significant attempt to import prohibited pyrotechnic items into Pakistan which were tactfully hidden/concealed inside the speaker boxes.  Acting on the directions of the Collector, a special team of the Collectorate led by the Additional Collector and the Deputy Collector, Multan Dry Port, conducted a detailed examination of two consignments imported by Hareem Enterprises under GD Nos. MCSI-HC-367-26-11-2025 and MCSI-HC-368-26-11-2025.

 

During the examination, the team not only identified multiple undeclared items and mis-declared quantity but also detected pyrotechnic items including 161 Kgs of Cold Spark Powder, hidden inside a video display trolley and 3,234 Kgs (27168 PCs) of Electric Fountain Fireworks (Electric Anaar), concealed inside speaker boxes. These items are prohibited/banned under Serial No. 23 of Appendix-A and Serial No. 46 of Appendix-B of the Import Policy Order, 2022. The importer attempted to evade Customs scrutiny through deliberate non-declaration, mis-declaration, and concealment. 

 

Estimated customs value & taxes of mis-declared, un-declared and concealed goods in respect of the two GDs is Rs 13.024 million while duty and taxes evasion is estimated at Rs 8.99 million. FIRs have been registered against the culprits in both the cases.

کلکٹوریٹ آف کسٹمز (اپریزمنٹ) فیصل آباد نے پاکستان میں آتش بازی کا ممنوعہ سامان درآمد کرنے کی ایک بڑی کوشش کو ناکام بنا دی۔  ممنوعہ سامان اسپیکر بکسوں کے اندر چھپایا گیا تھا۔ کلکٹر کی ہدایات پر کلکٹوریٹ کی ایک خصوصی ٹیم نے  ایڈیشنل کلکٹر اور ڈپٹی کلکٹر ملتان ڈرائی پورٹ کی سرکردگی میں  حریم انٹرپرائزز کی درآمد کردہ دو  کھیپوں  (جی ڈی نمبر MCSI-HC-367-26-11-2025 اور MCSI-HC-368-26-11-2025) کی تفصیلی جانچ پڑتال کی۔

 

معائنے کے دوران  ٹیم نے نہ صرف متعدد ان ڈکلیرڈاشیاء پکڑیں بلکہ ممنوعہ آتش بازی کا سامان بھی  برآمد کیا  جس  میں 161 کلوگرام کولڈ اسپارک پاؤڈر ویڈیو ڈسپلے ٹرالی کے اندر چھپایا گیا تھااور اسپیکر بکسوں میں چالاکی سے چھپائے گئے 3,234 کلوگرام (27,168 عدد) الیکٹرک فاؤنٹین فائر ورکس (الیکٹرک انار)   شامل تھے۔ یہ تمام اشیاء امپورٹ پالیسی آرڈر 2022 کی ضمیمہ  اے کے  نمبر شمار  23 اور  ضمیمہ  بی کے نمبر شمار  46 کے تحت ممنوع  ہیں۔

 

درآمد کنندہ نے دانستہ طور پر غلط بیانی سے سامان چھپا کر  کسٹمز کی جانچ پڑتال سے بچنے کی کوشش کی۔ دونوں جی ڈی نمبرز کے تحت غلط بیانی، ان ڈکلیرڈ  اور چھپائی گئی اشیاء کی  قیمت   کا تخمینہ ایک کروڑ تیس لاکھ روپے لگایا گیا ہے ۔ جبکہ ڈیوٹی اور ٹیکسوں کی چوری کا تخمینہ تقریبا نوے لاکھ روپے  ہے۔ دونوں مقدمات میں ملزمان کے خلاف ایف آئی آر درج کر لی گئی ہیں۔
