Enforcement Collectorate Gadani, in a major intelligence-based anti-smuggling operations with the support from FC and local polulice seized 30.5 metric tons of smuggled betel nuts of foreign origin along with four passenger buses near Ashok Pump, District Hub, with the total estimated value of the seized goods and conveyances amounting to Rs. 252.5 million.
The operation was carried out on the basis of credible intelligence received through the Chief Collector (Enforcement). Acting promptly, a Customs enforcement team was dispatched to the spot to verify and act upon the information.
During an initial reconnaissance of the area, the enforcement team assessed the likelihood of resistance and potential security risks. In view of the prevailing situation, assistance from the Frontier Corps (FC) and local Police was requisitioned to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the operation.
Upon arrival at the location, the team found the suspected buses parked as reported. As law enforcement personnel moved in, a mob gathered, creating disorder and disturbance. During the ensuing scuffle, the drivers of the buses managed to flee the scene. However, the situation was brought under control through the coordinated efforts of Customs, FC, and Police.
Due to the hostile environment and rising tension, the seized vehicles were immediately taken into custody and shifted to Customs Warehouse Gadani. A detailed examination conducted later in the presence of witnesses resulted in the recovery of 30.5 metric tons of smuggled betel nuts. The operation also led to the seizure of four passenger buses bearing registration numbers BSE-088, BSH-999, BSB-919, and BSB-613.
The FBR remains fully committed to curbing smuggling and corrupt practices to protect the national economy through sustained enforcement operations.

انفورسمنٹ کلکٹریٹ گڈانی نے خفیہ اطلاع کی بنیاد پر کاروائی کرتے ہوئے فرنٹیئر کور اور مقامی پولیس کی معاونت سے ضلع حب میں اشوک پمپ کے قریب غیر ملکی ساختہ 30.5 میٹرک ٹن اسمگل شدہ چھالیہ اور چار مسافر بسیں ضبط کر لیں۔ ضبط شدہ سامان اور گاڑیوں کی مجموعی مالیت کا تقریباً پچیس کروڑ پچیس لاکھ روپے لگایا گیا ہے۔
یہ کارروائی چیف کلکٹر (انفورسمنٹ) کی طرف سے ملنے والی مصدقہ خفیہ معلومات کی بنیاد پر کی گئی۔ بروقت کارروائی کرتے ہوئے کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ کی ایک ٹیم موقع پر روانہ کی گئی تاکہ فراہم کردہ معلومات کی تصدیق اور اس پر عملدرآمد کیا جا سکے۔
علاقے کی ابتدائی نگرانی کے دوران انفورسمنٹ ٹیم نے ممکنہ مزاحمت اور سکیورٹی خطرات کا جائزہ لیا۔ مو قع پر صورت حال کے پیش نظر کارروائی کے مؤثر بنانے کے لیے فرنٹیئر کور اور مقامی پولیس سے معاونت طلب کی گئی۔
ٹیم نے مشتبہ بسوں کو اطلاع کے مطابق بتائی گئی جگہ پرکھڑا پایا۔ جیسے ہی قانون نافذ کرنے والے اہلکاروں نے کارروائی شروع کی ایک ہجوم جمع ہو گیا جس سے بدنظمی اور ہنگامہ آرائی کی صورتحال پیدا ہوئی۔ جھڑپ کے دوران بسوں کے ڈرائیور موقع سے فرار ہونے میں کامیاب ہو گئے، تاہم کسٹمز، ایف سی اور پولیس کی مشترکہ کوششوں سے صورت حال پر قابو پا لیا گیا۔
مخالفانہ ماحول اور بڑھتی ہوئی کشیدگی کے باعث ضبط شدہ گاڑیوں کو فوری طور پر تحویل میں لے کر کسٹمز ویئرہاؤس گڈانی منتقل کر دیا گیا۔ بعد ازاں گواہوں کی موجودگی میں کی جانے والی تفصیلی جانچ پڑتال کے دوران 30.5 میٹرک ٹن اسمگل شدہ چھالیہ برآمد کی گئی۔ کارروائی کے نتیجے میں چار مسافر بسیں بھی ضبط کی گئیں جن کے رجسٹریشن نمبرز BSE-088، BSH-999، BSB-919 اور BSB-613 ہیں۔
ایف بی آر قومی معیشت کے تحفظ، اسمگلنگ اور بدعنوانی کے خاتمہ کے لیے انفورسمنٹ کی کاروائیاں جاری رکھے گا۔
