December 7, 2025: The Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Peshawar, has successfully thwarted several major smuggling attempts during a series of coordinated anti-smuggling operations conducted across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The total value of the seized goods in these operations is estimated at Rs.74.4 million.
In a significant operation, the Enforcement Division D.I. Khan intercepted three trucks transporting 12,200 kg of smuggled betel nuts, 4,021 sleeves of foreign-origin cigarettes, and 170 tyres. The goods, along with the offending vehicles having a total estimated value of Rs. 54.5 million were seized
.
In another action, the Enforcement Division D.I. Khan confiscated various non-duty-paid cosmetics including hand and face creams, lotions, shampoos, and petroleum jellies recovered from different passenger conveyances. These goods are valued at PKR 2.4 million.
Meanwhile, the Peshawar Division seized two non-duty-paid vehicles, one Toyota Vitz and one Toyota Aqua, with a combined value of approximately PKR 8 million.
Similarly, the Anti-Smuggling Directorate (ASD) Nowshera intercepted a JAC Pickup loaded with 2,000 sleeves of smuggled cigarettes, seizing both the goods and the vehicle. This case carries an assessed value of PKR 9.5 million.
These anti smuggling operations of Pakistan Customs in KP and across the country reaffirm the FBR's commitment to curbing smuggling and safeguarding the national economy.

کلکٹوریٹ آف کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ پشاور نے صوبہ خیبر پختونخوا کے مختلف علاقوں میں انسداد اسمگلنگ آپریشنز کے دوران اسمگلنگ کی کئی بڑی کوششیں ناکام بنا دیں۔ ان کارروائیوں میں ضبط شدہ سامان کی مجموعی مالیت سات کروڑ چوالیس لاکھ روپے کے لگ بھگ ہے۔
ایک اہم کارروائی میں انفورسمنٹ ڈویژن ڈیرہ اسماعیل خان نے تین ٹرکوں کو روک کر 12,200 کلو گرام اسمگل شدہ چھالیہ، 4,021 سلیوز غیر ملکی سگریٹس اور 170 ٹائرز برآمد کرلئے ۔ ان اشیا اور اسمگلنگ میں ملوث گاڑیوں کو ضبط کرلیا گیا ہے جن کی مجموعی مالیت پانچ کروڑ پینتالیس لاکھ روپے بنتی ہے ۔
ایک اور کارروائی میں انفورسمنٹ ڈویژن ڈیرہ اسماعیل خان نے مختلف مسافر گاڑیوں سے ہینڈ اور فیس کریمز، لوشنز، شیمپو اور پیٹرولیم جیلیز پر مشتمل چوبیس لاکھ روپے مالیت کے نان ڈیوٹی پیڈ کاسمیٹکس برآمد کرکے ضبط کر لئے ۔
دریں اثنا ٔ پشاور ڈویژن نے دو نان ڈیوٹی پیڈ گاڑیاں ٹویوٹا وٹز اور ٹویوٹا ایکواضبط کیں، جن کی مجموعی مالیت تقریباً اسی لاکھ روپے ہے۔
دوسری طرف اینٹی اسمگلنگ ڈائریکٹوریٹ نوشہرہ نے ایک جیک پک اَپ گاڑی کو روک کر 2,000 سلیوز اسمگل شدہ سگریٹس برآمد کیے اور سامان کے ساتھ گاڑی کو بھی قبضے میں لے لیا۔ اس کیس کی مجموعی مالیت پچانوے لاکھ روپے ہے۔
خیبر پختونخوا اور ملک بھر میں پاکستان کسٹمز کی یہ انسداد اسمگلنگ کارروائیاں ایف بی آر کے اس عہد کی تجدید کرتی ہیں کہ وہ اسمگلنگ کے خاتمے اور قومی معیشت کے تحفظ کے لیے پرعزم ہے۔
