14 January 2026 :Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Peshawar, during intelligence-based operations conducted over the last one week has successfully foiled multiple attempts to smuggle foreign-origin cloth, cigarettes, and other contraband goods, along with the seizure of offending vehicles. The cumulative estimated value of the seized goods and vehicles stands at Rs. 101.91 million.
The confiscated consignments included 14,000 sleeves of foreign-origin cigarettes valued at Rs. 45 million, 7,500 kilograms of foreign-origin cloth worth Rs. 35 million and other smuggled items valued at Rs. 21.91 million, comprising tyres, lithium-ion batteries, betel nuts, poppy seeds and dry yeast.
In addition to enforcement actions, the Collectorate is playing a proactive role in identifying smuggling trends and sharing timely intelligence with other field formations, enabling coordinated efforts to prevent the movement of non-duty-paid and contraband goods within its jurisdiction.
All seized goods and vehicles have been taken into custody under the relevant provisions of the Customs Act, 1969, and further legal proceedings are underway.
The FBR remains committed to eliminating smuggling, protecting national revenue and ensuring strict enforcement of customs laws through intelligence-led operations and inter-agency coordination.

کلکٹریٹ آف کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ، پشاور نے گزشتہ ایک ہفتے کے دوران خفیہ اطلاعات کی بنیادوں پر کی گئی کارروائیوں میں غیر ملکی کپڑے، سگریٹ اور دیگر ممنوعہ اشیاء کی اسمگلنگ کی متعدد کوششوں کو ناکام بناتے ہوئے سامان اور اسمگلنگ میں استعمال ہونے والی گاڑیاں قبضے میں لے لیں۔ ضبط کی گئی اشیاء اور گاڑیوں کی مجموعی مالیت کا تخمینہ دس کروڑ انیس لاکھ روپے ہے۔
ضبط کئے گئے سامان میں ساڑھے چار کروڑ روپے مالیت کے 14,000 سلیوز غیر ملکی سگریٹ ، ساڑھے تین کروڑ روپے مالیت کا 7,500 کلوگرام غیر ملکی کپڑا اور دو کروڑ انیس لاکھ روپے مالیت کے ٹائر، لیتھیم آئن بیٹریاں، چھالیہ، خشخاش اور خشک خمیر شامل ہیں۔
انفورسمنٹ کارروائیوں کے ساتھ ساتھ کسٹمز کلکٹریٹ پشاور اسمگلنگ کے رجحانات کی نشاندہی اور خفیہ اطلاعات بروقت دیگر فیلڈ فارمیشنز کے ساتھ شیئر کرنے میں بھی فعال کردار ادا کر رہا ہے۔ اس سے کلکٹریٹ کے دائرہ اختیار میں نان ڈیوٹی پیڈ اور ممنوعہ اشیاء کی نقل و حرکت کو روکنے کے لیے مربوط کوششیں ممکن بنائی جا رہی ہیں۔
تمام ضبط شدہ سامان اور گاڑیوں کو کسٹمز ایکٹ، 1969 کے تحت تحویل میں لے لیا گیا ہے اور مزید قانونی کارروائی جاری ہے۔
ایف بی آر اسمگلنگ کے خاتمے، قومی محاصل کے تحفظ اور انٹیلی جنس پر مبنی کارروائیوں اورقانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے تعاون سے کسٹمز قوانین کی سخت انفورسمنٹ کے لیے پُرعزم ہے۔
