December 16, 2025: - Customs Enforcement Quetta, in two major separate anti-smuggling operations, has successfully seized and recovered 22.14 Kg narcotics, consignments of smuggled goods comprising cigarettes, betel nuts, Indian medicines, Chinese salt, auto parts, a ROCO vehicle and three (03) Hino trucks, with an estimated total value of Rs. 1.38 billion.
Acting upon credible intelligence received by the Collector of Customs Enforcement, Quetta, officials of the Collectorate intercepted three containers during routine checking at FEU Zariat Cross (ZC) while they were being transported from Quetta to Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The vehicles intercepted included three Hino Trucks No. TME-649, TLE-743 and MLM-6186. Detailed examination led to the recovery of the aforementioned smuggled goods concealed in the containers.
In another operation, the staff of the Collectorate of Enforcement Customs, Quetta carried out interception of a ROCO vehicle bearing Registration No. SB-7548 (Sindh) at FEU Zariat Cross with the assistance of Zariat Cross Police. The vehicle, along with its driver, were brought inside the post for checking and interrogation.
During interrogation, it was disclosed that drugs were concealed inside the spare wheel at the bottom side of the vehicle. Upon thorough checking, suspected narcotics believed to be Heroin was recovered which was packed in 41 packets, each weighing 0.54 kilograms, making a total gross weight of 22.14 kilograms with an estimated value of Rs.1.23 Billion in international market.
These operations are part of the Collectorate’s intensified enforcement drive aimed at curbing smuggling and dismantling illegal trade networks. All the seized narcotics, goods and vehicles have been taken into custody, and legal proceedings under the Customs Act, 1969 have been formally initiated.
The Federal Board of Revenue has commended the Customs Enforcement Quetta team for their effective action and reiterated its firm resolve to combat smuggling, illicit trade and illegal economic activities across the country.

کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ کوئٹہ نے اسمگلنگ کے خلاف دو علیحدہ علیحدہ بڑی کارروائیوں کے دوران 22.14 کلوگرام منشیات اور اسمگل شدہ سامان پر مشتمل کھیپ اور چار گاڑیاں ضبط کر لی۔ ضبط شدہ سامان میں سگریٹ، چھالیہ، بھارتی ادویات، چائنہ نمک، آٹو پارٹس، ایک (ROCO) گاڑی اور تین ہینو ٹرک شامل ہیں، جن کی مجموعی مالیت تقریباً ایک ارب اڑتیس کروڑ روپے ہے۔
کلکٹر کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ کوئٹہ کو موصول ہونے والی مصدقہ خفیہ اطلاعات کی بنیاد پر کلکٹریٹ کے عملے نے معمول کی چیکنگ کے دوران ایف ای یو زیارت کراس کے مقام پر تین کنٹینرز کو روکا جو کوئٹہ سے پنجاب اور خیبر پختونخوا منتقل کیے جا رہے تھے۔ روکی گئی گاڑیوں میں تین ہینو ٹرک شامل تھے جن کے رجسٹریشن نمبرز TME-649، TLE-743 اور MLM-6186 ہیں۔ تفصیلی تلاشی لینے پر کنٹینرز میں چھپایا گیا مذکورہ اسمگل شدہ سامان برآمد کیا گیا ۔
ایک اور کارروائی میں کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ کوئٹہ کے عملے نے زیارت کراس پولیس کی مدد سے ایک (ROCO) گاڑی رجسٹریشن نمبر SB-7548 (سندھ) کو ایف ای یو زیارت کراس کے مقام پر روکا۔ گاڑی کو ڈرائیور سمیت پوسٹ کے اندر لا کر تلاشی اور تفتیش کی گئی۔ تفتیش کے دوران انکشاف ہوا کہ منشیات گاڑی کے نچلے حصے میں اسپیئر وہیل کے اندر چھپائی گئی تھیں۔ مکمل تلاشی کے بعد مشتبہ منشیات جو بظاہر ہیروئن معلوم ہوتی ہے، برآمد کی گئی جو 41 پیکٹس میں پیک تھی۔ ہر پیکٹ کا وزن 540 گرام تھا، یوں مجموعی وزن 22.14 کلوگرام بنتا ہے، جس کی بین الاقوامی منڈی میں مالیت کا تخمینہ ایک ارب تیئس کروڑ روپے ہے۔
یہ کارروائیاں کلکٹریٹ کی انسداد اسمگلنگ اور غیر قانونی تجارتی نیٹ ورکس کے خاتمے کے لیے جاری سخت انفورسمنٹ مہم کا حصہ ہیں۔ ضبط کی گئی تمام منشیات، سامان اور گاڑیاں تحویل میں لے کر کسٹمز ایکٹ 1969 کے تحت قانونی کارروائی شروع کر دی گئی ہے۔
فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو نے کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ کوئٹہ کی ٹیم کو سراہتے ہوئے ملک بھر میں اسمگلنگ، غیر قانونی تجارت ، منشیات اور غیر قانونی معاشی سرگرمیوں کے خلاف بھرپور اقدامات جاری رکھنے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا ہے۔
