December 9, 2025: In a significant anti-smuggling operation, the Mobile Squad of Customs Enforcement Quetta, has seized a substantial quantity of smuggled goods worth Rs. 138 million. Acting on credible information provided by the Chief Collector Enforcement Islamabad, Customs team raided a warehouse on the outskirts of Quetta with the support of other law enforcement agencies.

 

 

During the raid, a substantial quantity of smuggled goods including assorted cloth, tyres, cigarettes, sheesha flavours, cashew nuts, and human hair worth an estimated Rs. 138 million was successfully recovered and seized. All seized goods have been taken into official custody, and legal proceedings under the Customs Act, 1969 have been initiated.

 

This operation is part of the Collectorate’s intensified crackdown against smuggling networks and illicit trade activities in the region. FBR has commended the Quetta Enforcement team for its effective action and reaffirmed its firm resolve to eliminate smuggling and illegal trade across the country.

کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ کوئٹہ کے موبائل اسکواڈ نے ایک اہم ا نسداد  اسمگلنگ آپریشن میں تیرہ کروڑ اسی لاکھ روپے  مالیت کے  اسمگل شدہ سامان  کی بھاری مقدار  قبضہ  میں لے لی ۔ چیف کلکٹر انفورسمنٹ اسلام آباد کی طرف سے مہیا کی گئی  مصدقہ معلومات پر کارروائی کرتے ہوئے کسٹمز ٹیم نے قانون نافذ کرنے والے دیگر اداروں کی معاونت سے کوئٹہ کے مضافات میں واقع ایک گودام پر چھاپہ مارا۔

 

چھاپے کے دوران اسمگل شدہ  مختلف اقسام کا کپڑا، ٹائر، سگریٹس، شیشہ فلیورز، کاجو اور انسانی بال  برآمد   ہوئے  جن کی مجموعی مالیت تقریباً تیرہ کروڑ اسی لاکھ روپے  ہے۔ تمام  اشیا کو سرکاری تحویل میں لے لیا گیا ہے اور کسٹمز ایکٹ 1969 کے تحت قانونی کارروائی شروع کر دی گئی ہے۔

 

یہ کارروائی کلکٹوریٹ کی جانب سے علاقہ میں اسمگلنگ نیٹ ورکس اور غیر قانونی تجارت کے خلاف جاری سخت کریک ڈاؤن کا حصہ ہے۔ ایف بی آر نے کوئٹہ انفورسمنٹ ٹیم کی موثر کارروائی کو سراہتے ہوئے ملک بھر میں اسمگلنگ اور غیر قانونی تجارت کے خاتمے کے اپنے عزم کا اعادہ کیا ہے۔
