Customs Enforcement Quetta Seizes Smuggled Goods Worth Rs. 368 Million
Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Quetta, in two successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted with the assistance of Balochistan Police and Frontier Corps (North) Balochistan, has seized large consignments of smuggled goods with a total estimated value of Rs. 368 million.
The seized items include foreign-origin cigarettes brands such as Benson & Hedges, Marlboro, and 555, along with Indian gutkha, tyres, betel nuts, and cigarette papers. The estimated value of the recovered goods has been assessed at Rs. 368 million.
The operations were carried out on the basis of credible intelligence, reflecting the sustained efforts of Customs Enforcement Quetta to curb smuggling and safeguard the national economy. Effective coordination and timely support from the Balochistan Police and Frontier Corps played a crucial role in the successful execution of these operations.
The FBR reiterates its firm resolve to continue strict enforcement actions against smuggling and illegal trade and corrupt practices.

کلکٹریٹ آف کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ کوئٹہ نے بلوچستان پولیس اور فرنٹیئر کور (نارتھ) بلوچستان کی معاونت سے دو کامیاب انٹیلی جنس بیسڈ کاروائیوں کے دوران اسمگل شدہ سامان کی بڑی کھیپیں ضبط کر لیں ۔ضبط کی گئی اشیا ٔ میں بینسن اینڈ ہیجز، مارلبرو اور 555 جیسے غیر ملکی سگریٹس برانڈ شامل ہیں ۔ اس کے علاوہ بھارتی گٹکہ ، ٹائرز، چھالیہ اور سگریٹ کے کاغذ بھی برآمد کیے گئے ہیں۔ برآمد شدہ اشیأ کی مجموعی مالیت کا تخمینہ چھتیس کروڑ اسی لاکھ روپے ہے۔
مصدقہ خفیہ اطلاعات کی بنیاد پر کی گئیں یہ کارروائیاں اسمگلنگ کی روک تھام اور قومی معیشت کے تحفظ کے لیے کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ کوئٹہ کی مسلسل کوششوں کی عکاس ہیں۔ ان کارروائیوں کی کامیابی میں بلوچستان پولیس اور فرنٹیئر کور کی مؤثر رابطہ کاری اور بروقت تعاون نے کلیدی کردار ادا کیا۔
