30 November, 2025 - Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Sargodha in its intensified anti-smuggling drive has successfully intercepted multiple consignments and vehicles in the past 24 hours, safeguarding millions in national revenue. The swift actions come under the supervision of Collector Taimoor Kamal Malik, whose team thwarted significant smuggling attempts across the region.
The most notable seizures included a non-custom-paid Toyota Prius intercepted on Motorway M-14 and the confiscation of nearly Rs. 10 million worth of foreign-origin cigarettes during a raid at a godown in Dajal, District Bhakkar. In another major development, Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO), Sahiwal, seized a vehicle transporting 48,000 litres of industrial solvent, which possessed documents falsely declaring the quantity only 24,000 litres.
Other enforcement actions were undertaken by ASO Faisalabad, which detained consignments containing foreign-origin cigarettes, Chinese salt, skimmed milk powder bags, glutamine powder, and other contraband goods.
The seized industrial solvent was reportedly meant for illegal sale in the Sahiwal region, while the cigarettes and other goods were part of organised smuggling operations impacting local markets and revenue.

کلکٹریٹ آف کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ سرگودھا نے اپنی مُؤثر انسداد اسمگلنگ مہم کے دوران گزشتہ 24 گھنٹوں میں سمگلنگ کی گئی متعدد اشیاء اور گاڑیوں کو کامیابی سے روک کر قومی خزانے کو کروڑوں روپے کے نقصان سے محفوظ رکھا۔ یہ کارروائیاں کلکٹر کسٹمز تیمور کمال ملک کی نگرانی میں کی گئیں جن کی ٹیم نے علاقہ میں اسمگلنگ کی متعدد کوششوں کو ناکام بنایا۔
ایک اہم ضبطگی موٹروے M-14 پر ایک نان کسٹم پیڈ ٹویوٹا (Prius) کی تھی جبکہ ضلع بھکر کے علاقے داجل میں واقع ایک گودام پر چھاپے کے دوران تقریباً 1 کروڑ روپے مالیت کی غیر ملکی سگریٹس قبضہ میں لئے گئے ۔ ایک اور بڑی کارروائی میں اینٹی اسمگلنگ آرگنائزیشن ساہیوال نے ایک گاڑی کو روکا جو 48,000 لیٹر صنعتی سالونٹ لے جارہی تھی جبکہ پیش کی گئی دستاویزات میں مقدار صرف 24,000 لیٹر ظاہر کی گئی تھی۔
انفورسمنٹ کی دیگر کاروائیاں میں اینٹی اسمگلنگ آرگنائزیشن فیصل آباد نے غیر ملکی سگریٹس، چائنا سالٹ، اسکِمڈ ملک پاؤڈر کے بیگ، Glutamine پاؤڈر اور دیگر ممنوعہ سامان پر مشتمل کھیپوں کو تحویل میں لیا۔
صنعتی سالونٹ مبینہ طور پر ساہیوال کے علاقے میں غیر قانونی فروخت کے لیے منتقل کیا جا رہا تھا جبکہ سگریٹس اور دیگر اشیاء منظم اسمگلنگ نیٹ ورک کا حصہ تھیں جو مقامی مارکیٹ اور قومی ریونیو کو متاثر کر رہی تھیں۔
