Latest FBR Releases
During the month of November, 2015, according to the provisional figures received so far, FBR has made a net collection of more than Rs. 229 billion, as against net collection of Rs. 180 billion made last year showing an increase of 27%. The target for the current month has therefore been achieved. It is expected that the collection would further increase when the final figures are received. The revenue collection trend during the month of November 2015 further reinforces, consolidates and even surpasses the marked improvement shown in the first month of the second Quarter of the current year over the trend in the first quarter of the current financial year and augurs well for the efforts of FBR towards achievement of the assigned revenue targets.
2. From July, 2015 to November, 2015, FBR made a net collection of more than Rs. 1044 billion as against net collection of Rs. 904 billion made last year resulting in an increase of 15%. Upto October 2015 this increase was at 12%. This is after having issued refunds of Rs.36 billion as against Rs. 34 billion issued during first five months of last year. Details of collection in the period of July to November, 2015 as compared to July to November, 2014 are as under:
