A delegation of Super Market Association, Faisalabad visited FBR (HQs), Islamabad today and held a detailed meeting with Chairman FBR/Secretary Revenue Division Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed and Mr, Farrukh Habib, Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, both in Chair.
Various issues related to Point of Sales were discussed during the meeting. The President, Super Market Association, Faisalabad Mr. Shahid Mumtaz Bajwa informed the participants that all its 40 members had been integrated with FBR POS System, which was appreciated by the Chairman FBR. On the issue of input adjustment from un-registered wholesalers/distributors, the Association was informed by FBR that in Finance Supplementary Act, 2022, they had been declared as Tier-1 Retailers. Hence, their issue of input tax adjustment would soon be resolved under the relevant provisions of law.
The Chairman, FBR desired that the Dispute Committee of FBR and the Traders in Faisalabad would be activated for an amicable settlement of genuine/legal issues of Faisalabad traders. During the meeting, the Chairman FBR reiterated that government believed in collecting the rightful taxes by following the due process of law and FBR was taking all out measures to ensure facilitation of Traders community for an accelerated economic growth. He further stated that he had already passed on necessary directions to Field Formations to work closely with trade bodies in order to ensure tax compliance in a transparent manner. The delegation thanked Chairman FBR for listening to the grievances of traders and the desired assurance of speedy resolution of their problems.
The participants from FBR also included Mr. Qaisar Iqbal, Member (IR Operations), Dr. Nasser Janjua, Chief POS, Mr. Amir Amin Bhatti, Chief IR-Operations and Mr. Muhammad Anwar Chaudhry, Chief Sales Tax Operations. The delegation from Super Market Association, Faisalabad included Mr. Shahid Mumtaz Bajwa, President Super Market Association, Mr. Safdar Ali, Vice President, Mr. Muhammad Ashfaq, Vice President, Mr. Muhammad Saeed Ahmad, General Secretary, Mr. Rashid Sharif, Information Secretary and Mr. Muhammad Aslam, Member of the Association.
فیصل آباد ٹریڈرز ایسوسی ایشن کی چیئرمین ایف بی آر سے ملاقات
سپر مارکیٹ ایسوسی ایشن، فیصل آباد کے وفد نے آج ایف بی آر ( ہیڈ کوارٹرز)، اسلام آباد کا دورہ کیا اور چیئرمین ایف بی آر /سیکریٹری ریونیو ڈویژن ڈاکٹر محمد اشفاق احمد اور فرخ حبیب، وزیر مملکت برائے اطلاعات و نشریات کی صدارت میں تفصیلی ملاقات کی۔
ملاقات میں پوائنٹ آف سیلز سے متعلق مختلف امور پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ صدرسپر مارکیٹ ایسوسی ایشن، فیصل آباد شاہد ممتاز باجوہ نے شرکاء کو بتایا کہ ان کے تمام 40 ممبران ایف بی آر پی او ایس سسٹم کے ساتھ منسلک ہو چکے ہیں، جسے چیئرمین ایف بی آر کی جانب سے سراہا گیا ۔ غیر رجسٹرڈ ہول سیلرز/ڈسٹری بیوٹرز سے ان پٹ ایڈجسٹمنٹ کے معاملے پر ایف بی آر کی طرف سے ایسوسی ایشن کو بتایا گیا کہ فنانس ضمنی ایکٹ 2022 میں انہیں ٹیئر ون ریٹیلرز قرار دیا گیا ہے۔ لہٰذا ان پٹ ٹیکس ایڈجسٹمنٹ کا مسئلہ قانون کی متعلقہ دفعات کے تحت جلد ہی حل ہو جائے گا۔
چیئرمین ایف بی آر نے خواہش ظاہر کی کہ فیصل آباد کے تاجران کے حقیقی/قانونی مسائل کے خوش اسلوبی سے حل کے لیے ایف بی آر اور تاجروں کی ڈسپیوٹ کمیٹی کو فعال کیا جائےگا۔ اجلاس کے دوران چیئرمین ایف بی آر نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا کہ حکومت قانون کے مطابق عمل کرتے ہوئے جائز ٹیکس وصول کرنے پر یقین رکھتی ہے اور ایف بی آر تیز رفتار اقتصادی ترقی کے لیے تاجر برادری کو سہولیات کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے تمام تر اقدامات کر رہا ہے ۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ وہ پہلے ہی فیلڈ فارمیشنز کو ضروری ہدایات جاری کر چکے ہیں کہ وہ تجارتی اداروں کے ساتھ مل کر کام کریں تاکہ شفاف طریقے سے ٹیکس تعمیل کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔ وفد نے چیئرمین ایف بی آر کا تاجروں کی شکایات سننے اور ان کے مسائل کے جلد حل کی یقین دہانی پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔
شرکاء میں ایف بی آر کی طرف سے قیصر اقبال، ممبر (آئی آر آپریشنز)، ڈاکٹر ناصر جنجوعہ، چیف پی او ایس، عامر امین بھٹی، چیف آئی آر آپریشنز اور محمد انور چوہدری، چیف سیلز ٹیکس آپریشنز بھی شامل تھے۔ سپر مارکیٹ ایسوسی ایشن فیصل آباد کے وفد میں شاہد ممتاز باجوہ صدر سپر مارکیٹ ایسوسی ایشن، صفدر علی، نائب صدر، محمد اشفاق، نائب صدر، محمد سعید احمد، جنرل سیکریٹری، راشد شریف،سیکریٹری اطلاعات اور محمد اسلم ، ممبر آف ایوسی ایشن شرکاء میں شامل تھے ۔
