Federal Board of Revenue has successfully maintained momentum of its growth trajectory in revenue collection. FBR has released the provisional revenue collection figures for the months July, 2021 to January, 2022 of current Financial Year 2021-22. According to the provisional information, the country's premier revenue collection organization has collected net revenue of Rs 3,352 billion during July, 2021 to January, 2022 of current Financial Year 2021-22, which has exceeded the target of Rs 3,090 billion by Rs 262 billion. This represents a growth of about 30.4% over the collection of Rs. 2,571 billion during the same period, last year.
The net collection for the month of January, 2022 realized Rs. 430 billion representing an increase of 17.2 % over Rs 367 billion collected in January, 2021. These figures would further improve before the close of the day and after book adjustments have been taken in to account.
On the other hand, the gross collections increased from Rs 2,705 billion during July, 2021 to January, 2022 to Rs 3,533 billion in current Financial Year July, 2021 to January, 2022, showing an increase of 30.6% Likewise, the amount of refunds disbursed was Rs 182 billion during July, 2021 to January, 2022 compared to Rs 134 billion paid last year, showing an increase of 35.9%.
It is pertinent to mention that FBR has introduced a number of innovative interventions both at policy and operational level with a view to maximize revenue potential through digitization, transparency, and taxpayers' facilitation. This has not only resulted in ensuring the ease of doing business but also translated in a healthy and steady growth in revenue collection. Likewise, the incumbent top leadership of FBR has launched a new culture of clean taxation with a clear focus on collecting only the fair tax and not holding up refunds which are due to be paid. This has not only fast tracked the process of bridging the trust deficit between FBR and Taxpayers but also ensured the much needed cash liquidity for business community. That's precisely why, for the first time ever in the country's history, FBR continues to surpass its assigned revenue targets despite challenges and price stabilization measures adopted by the government.
ایف بی آر نے رواں مالی سال 7 ماہ کے محاصل کے حصول میں 262 ارب روپے زائد حاصل کر لئے
فیڈرل بور ڈ آف ریونیو نے محصولات کے حصول میں اضاٖفہ کے سلسلے کو جاری رکھا ہو ا ہے۔ اس حوالے سے ایف بی آر نے رواں مالی سال 22-2021 جولائی 2021 تا جنوری 2022میں حاصل کردہ محصولات کی ابتدائی تفصیلات جاری کر دی ہیں جس کے مطابق ایف بی آر نے 3352ارب روپے کا نیٹ ریونیوحاصل کیا ہے جو کہ اس عرصہ کے مقر ر کردہ ہدف 3090ارب روپے سے262 ارب روپے زائد ہے۔ اس طرح پچھلے سال اس عرصہ میں حاصل کردہ 2571 ارب روپے کے محصولات کے مقابلے میں 30.4 فیصد اضافہ حاصل ہوا ہے۔
ایف بی آر نے ماہ جنوری2022 میں430 ارب روپے کا نیٹ ریونیو حاصل کیا جو کہ پچھلے سال جنوری 2021کے حاصل کردہ نیٹ ریوینیو367ارب روپے کے مقابلے میں17.2فیصد زائد اضافہ ہے۔ ماہ جنوری کے آخری دن کے اختتام تک اور بک ایڈجسٹمنٹ کی مد میں حاصل ہونے والی وصولیوں کے بعدمحصولات کی تعداد میں مزید اضافہ متوقع ہے۔
اسی طرح گراس ریونیو پچھلے سال جولائی 2020 تا جنوری 2021 کے2705ارب روپے کے مقابلے میں اس سا ل( جولائی 2021 جنوری 2022 ) 3533ارب روپے رہا ۔اس طرح 30.6فیصد اضافہ حاصل ہوا۔ جولائی 2021 تا جنوری 2022 میں182 ارب روپے کے ریفنڈز جاری کئے گئے جو کہ پچھلے سال اس عرصہ میں134 ارب روپے تھے۔ ریفنڈز کے اجراء می35.9 فیصد اضافہ حاصل ہوا ہے ۔
یہاں یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ ایف بی آر نے آپریشنل اور پالیسی سطح پر متعدد اخترائی اقدامات کو متعارف کیا ہے تاکہ ڈیجیٹائیزیشن، شفافیت اور ٹیکس گزاروں کی سہولیات کی بدولت محصولات میں اضافہ حاصل کیا جا سکے۔ان اقدامات کی وجہ سے نہ صرف ریونیو میں اضافہ حاصل ہو ا ہے بلکہ تجارتی آسانی کو بھی فروغ ملا ہے۔اسی طرح ایف بی آر کی موجودہ لیڈرشپ نے ریفنڈز کے اجراء کو روکے بغیر خالص ٹیکسز کے حصول کے کلچر کو متعارف کیا ہے۔اس سے نہ صرف ٹیکس گزاروں کا ایف بی آر پر اعتماد کو فروغ ملا ہے بلکہ کاروباری کمیونٹی کے لیکویڈیٹی کے مسائل بھی حل ہوئے ہیں۔باوجود اس کے کہ ایف بی آرکوحکومت کی طرف سے قیمتوں کو مستحکم رکھنے جیسے اقدامات اور متعدد چیلنجزکا سامنا ہے مگر پھر بھی ملکی تاریخ میں پہلی مرتبہ ایف بی آر نے ہدف سے زائد محصولات کے سلسلے کو جاری رکھا ہوا ہے۔
