Following a policy of zero tolerance against corruption, highhanded, and misconduct Federal Board of Revenue (HQs) Islamabad has suspended three officials posted in Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Lahore.
This evening, the top leadership of FBR had received an undeniable information based on audio-visual evidence from reliable sources that Mr.Imran Fareed, Inspector (BS-16), Mr. Muhammad Saeed Sabir, Inspector (BS-16) & Mr.Nasir Zaman Raika, Superintendent(BS-16) were co- accomplices in undesirable practices, unbecoming of officials holding public office. The competent authority immediately ordered an inquiry against the accused officials.
Initial probe found the evidence credible enough to proceed against the accused officials. Therefore, the competent authority by exercising powers conferred under Rule 5(1) of the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules 2020, has placed the above three officials under suspension, initially for a period of 120 days.
Regular proceedings have been ordered against the accused officials which will be conducted under the relevant rules to complete the due process of law and afford the accused officials an opportunity of being heard. Exemplary punishment will be awarded to the accused if proven guilty of the charges.
Chairman FBR/Secretary Revenue Division, Dr.Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed has reiterated once more in categorical terms that FBR will continue to deal such black sheep within the organization with an iron hand in order to ensure transparency, ease of doing business and thereby bridge the trust deficit between FBR and Taxpayers. He further reaffirmed that no one involved in any form of corruption, highhanded and extortion will be spared and those bringing bad name to the country's premier revenue collection organization will be proceeded against, without fail.

فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو(ہیڈ کوارٹرز) اسلام آباد نے بدعنوانی اور بد انتظامی کے خلاف عدم برداشت کی پالیسی پر عمل کرتے ہوئے کلکٹریٹ آف کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ، لاہور میں تعینات تین افسران کو معطل کر دیا ۔
آج شام ایف بی آر کی اعلیٰ قیادت کوقابل اعتماد ذرائع کی جانب سے ناقابل تردیدآڈیواور ویڈیو شواہد پر مبنی معلومات موصول ہوئیں جس کے مطابق عمران فریدانسپکٹر(بی ایس 16)، محمد سعید صابرانسپکٹر (بی ایس 16)اور ناصر زمان رائیکا سپرنٹنڈنٹ (بی ایس 16) ایسے جرم میں ملوث پائے گئے ، جو ایک پبلک آفیسر کے کیلئے انتہائی غیر موزوں ہے۔ متعلقہ اتھارٹی نے ملزمان کے خلاف فوری طور پر انکوائری کرنے کا حکم دے دیا۔
ابتدائی تفتیش کے دوران ملنے والے شواہد ملزمان کے خلاف کارروائی کیلئے کافی حد تک باوثوق پائے گئے ۔ لہٰذا، مجاز اتھارٹی نے سول سرونٹس(ایفشینسی اینڈ ڈسپلن) رولز 2020 کےرول 5(1)کے تحت مذکورہ تینوں افسران کو ابتدائی طور پر 120 ایام کیلئے معطل کر دیا گیا ہے۔
ملزم افسران کے خلاف باضابطہ کارروائی کا حکم دیا گیا اور متعلقہ قواعد کے مطابق کارروائی مکمل کرنے اور ملزم اہلکاروں کو اپنا مؤقف پیش کرنے کا موقع فراہم کیا جائے گا۔ الزامات ثابت ہونے پر ملزمان کو کڑی سزا دی جائے گی۔
چیئرمین ایف بی آر/سیکریٹری ریونیو ڈویژن، ڈاکٹر محمد اشفاق احمد نے ایک بار پھر دوٹوک الفاظ میں اپنے عزم کا اعادہ کیا ہے کہ ایف بی آر شفافیت، کاروبار کرنے میں آسانی پیدا کرنے اور ایف بی آر اور ٹیکس گزاروں کے مابین اعتما د میں اضافے کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے ادارے میں چھپی ایسی کالی بھیڑوں سے آہنی ہاتھوں سے نمٹے گا ۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کسی بھی قسم کی بدعنوانی، بد انتظامی یا بھتہ خوری میں ملوث کسی بھی فرد کو ہرگز نہیں بخشا جائے گا اور ملک کاریونیو اکٹھا کرنے والے ادارے کوبدنام کرنے والوں کے خلاف بلاامتیاز کارروائی کی جائے گی۔
