Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting on revenue performance of FBR, at FBR Headquarters, today.

SAPM on Finance Mr. Tariq Bajwa, SAPM on Revenue Mr. Tariq Mehmood Pasha, Chairman FBR, Members of the Board (FBR) and other senior officers from Finance Division attended the meeting.

 

 

Chairman FBR Mr. Asim Ahmad welcomed the Finance Minister at FBR and gave a detailed presentation on revenue targets and performance of FBR for the months of November and December 2022. He apprised the Minister that FBR has surpassed the revenue collection targets till November and expressed hope to successfully meet its targets in remaining months of financial year 2022-23.

 

 

 

​The Finance Minister expressed satisfaction and appreciated the FBR team for their efforts in meeting the targets. He further extended his full support to FBR in performance of their duties for revenue collection. The Finance Minister also stressed the FBR team to position themselves according to changes in economic outlook and advised the FBR rank and file to increase their efforts to achieve the true tax potential in the country.

وزیر خزانہ اسحاق ڈار کی زیر صدارت ایف بی آر ہیڈکوارٹرز میں ریونیو کارکردگی پر اجلاس

وفاقی وزیر خزانہ سینیٹر محمد اسحاق ڈار نے بدھ کو ایف بی آر کی ریونیو کارکردگی کے حوالے سے ایف بی آر ہیڈکوارٹرز میں اجلاس کی صدارت کی۔ اجلاس میں وزیراعظم کے معاون خصوصی براۓ خزانہ طارق باجوہ، وزیراعظم کے معاون خصوصی براۓ ریونیو طارق محمود پاشا، چیئرمین ایف بی آر، بورڈ کے ممبران اور وزارت خزانہ کے اعلی افسران نے شرکت کی۔

چیئرمین ایف بی آر عاصم احمد نے وزیر خزانہ کا ایف بی آر میں خیرمقدم کیا اور نومبر اور دسمبر 2022 کے مہینوں کے ریونیو اہداف اور ایف بی آر کی کارکردگی کے بارے میں تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔ انہوں نے وزیر خزانہ کو آگاہ کیا کہ ایف بی آر نے نومبر تک اہداف سے زیادہ محصولات اکٹھا کر لیۓ ہیں اور امید ظاہر کی کہ مالی سال 23-2022 کے بقیہ مہینوں کے اہداف بھی کامیابی سے حاصل کر لیۓ جائیں گے۔

وزیر خزانہ نے اہداف کے حصول میں ایف بی آر ٹیم کی کوششوں کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے ایف بی آر کو  اپنے فرائض کی انجام دہی میں مکمل تعاون کا یقین دلایا۔ وزیر خزانہ نے امید ظاہر کی کہ ایف بی آر ٹیم  ٹیکس کا دائرہ کار وسیع کرنے میں اپنی کوششیں جاری رکھے گی۔
