Multan Customs Enforcement Team Foils Major Smuggling Attempt – Seizes Smuggled Betel Nuts along-with Truck Worth PKR 15 Million
November 13, 2025: - The Customs Enforcement team in Dera Ghazi Khan has successfully foiled a major smuggling attempt, seizing 3040 kg of smuggled betel nuts valued at approximately PKR 06 million. The contraband in 80 bags was hidden beneath the coal. Both the seized betel nuts and the Coal truck have been taken into custody under the Customs Act of 1969. The total estimated worth of the case is around PKR 15 million.
The Federal Board of Revenue will continue to rigorously enforce measures to prevent smuggling and ensure strict adherence to customs laws at all entry points and checkpoints. FBR remains committed to combating smuggling, protecting national revenue and ensuring the safety of public health and the economy.

13 نومبر 2025 - کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ ٹیم ڈیرہ غازی خان نے اسمگلنگ کی ایک بڑی کوشش ناکام بناتے ہوئے ساٹھ لاکھ روپے مالیت کی 3040 کلوگرام اسمگل شدہ چھالیہ ضبط کر لی۔ اسمگل شدہ مال کی 80 بوریاں ایک ٹرک میں کوئلے کے نیچے چھپائی گیں تھیں۔ چھالیہ اور کوئلے سے لدا ٹرک کسٹمز ایکٹ 1969 کے تحت قبضے میں لے لیا گیا ہے۔ ٹرک سمیت کیس کی کل مالیت کا تخمینہ ایک کروڑ پچاس لاکھ روپے ہے۔
