PAKISTAN CUSTOMS GADANI FOILS MAJOR NARCOTICS SMUGGLING ATTEMPT; 188 KG HASHISH SEIZED
27 November 2025 - Pakistan Customs Gadani has successfully thwarted a major narcotics smuggling attempt recovering 188kg of hashish with an estimated market value of Rs. 552.44 million. The recovered narcotics were concealed inside oversized types when a container-mounted vehicle was intercepted at the Kurkhera Check Post.
Acting on specific intelligence shared by the Collector Customs Enforcement Gadani, heightened vigilance was maintained at the Kurkhera Check Post. During an intensified inspection, a vehicle claiming to carry cut tyres was diverted for detailed examination. Customs staff discovered two large tyres, inside which hashish had been hidden using sophisticated concealment techniques.
A meticulous search led to the recovery of 169 packets of hashish, with the total assessed value of the narcotics and the vehicle estimated at PKR 552.437 million.
The individual accompanying the vehicle was immediately taken into custody. The contraband, concealment material and vehicle were seized under relevant provisions of Customs Act, 1969. Further investigation is currently underway.

27 نومبر 2025 - پاکستان کسٹمز گڈانی نے منشیات کی سمگلنگ کی ایک بڑی کوشش ناکام بناتے ہوئے 188 کلو گرام چرس برآمد کر لی جس کی مارکیٹ ویلیو کا تخمینہ پچپن کروڑ روپے سے زائد لگایا گیا ہے ۔مصدقہ اطلاعات پر کسٹمز حکام نے کرخیرا چیک پوسٹ پر ایک کنٹینر والی گاڑی کو روک کر تلاشی لی تو اس میں لدے ہوئے بڑے سائز کے ٹائروں میں چھپائی گئی چرس برآمد ہوئی ۔
کلکٹر کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ گڈانی کی سے طرف ملنے والی خفیہ اطلاع پر چیک پوسٹ کے عملہ نے اپنی نگرانی سخت کر لی اور اس دوران ایک گاڑی کو روکا گیا جس میں بظاہر پرانے ٹائر لدے ہوے تھے۔ اس گاڑی کے تفصیلی معائنہ کے دوران دو بڑے حجم والے ٹائر نظر آئے جن میں چرس چھپائی گئی تھی ۔ باریک بینی سے کی گئی جانچ پڑتال پر چرس کے 169 پیکٹ برآمد ہوئے جن کی مالیت کا تخمینہ پچپن کروڑ چوبیس لاکھ روپے لگایا گیا ہے ۔
گاڑی میں موجود شخص کو فوری طور پر گرفتار کرلیا گیا ۔ کسٹم ایکٹ 1969 کے تحت منشیات اور استعمال ہونے والی گاڑی بھی ضبط کی گئی ہےاور مزید تفتیش کی جارہی ہے۔
