12 November 2025: - In a major anti-smuggling operation, the Customs Enforcement team, acting on credible information conveyed by the Deputy Collector Customs, D.I. Khan-II, under the directions of the Collector Customs (Enforcement), Peshawar, successfully intercepted a large quantity of foreign-origin narcotics from a passenger bus during a routine vigilance check at IP-JCP Aman Mela.
Upon thorough inspection of the suspected Daewoo bus bearing Registration No. CAT-4488, Customs officials recovered foreign-origin narcotics ICE (Crystal Methamphetamine) concealed inside three specially designed inverters placed in the bus. The driver and conductor were arrested on the spot, and an FIR was lodged against them.
The recovered narcotics comprised 15 packets of foreign-origin substance resembling ICE (Crystal Methamphetamine), weighing a total of 15,350 grams (net 15,200 grams after sampling). The estimated value of the narcotics is Rs. 910.200 million, while the value of the seized Daewoo bus is Rs. 15.000 million, bringing the total estimated value of the case to Rs. 925.200 million.
As the recovered narcotics were being transported from IP-JCP Aman Mela to the State Warehouse, the Customs staff came under attack by unidentified miscreants/terrorists, who opened straight and indiscriminate fire on the customs convoy. The attack appeared to be aimed at harming the customs personnel due to high market value of the seized narcotics. However, the swift and courageous response of the customs team ensured the safety of both personnel and the seized goods. Meanwhile, Pakistan Army troops and police personnel acted swiftly and reached the site of the incident promptly, providing immediate support and security. They safely escorted the Customs staff and the recovered narcotics consignment to the State Warehouse, D.I. Khan, without any loss of life or property.
This successful operation demonstrates the continued commitment of FBR against smuggling and narcotics trafficking.

کلیکٹریٹ آف کسٹمز انفورسمنٹ ٹیم نے کلکٹر کسٹمز (انفورسمنٹ) پشاور کی ہدایت اور ڈپٹی کلکٹر کسٹمز ڈی آئی خان-II کی طرف سے ملنے والی مصدقہ اطلاع پر انسدادِ اسمگلنگ کی ایک بڑی کارروائی میں جے سی پی، امان میلہ پر ایک مسافر بس سے غیر ملکی ساختہ منشیات کی بڑی کھیپ برآمد کر لی۔
تفصیلی تلاشی کے دوران مشتبہ ڈائیو بس رجسٹریشن نمبر CAT-4488) سے خاص طور پر تیار کردہ تین انورٹرز کے اندر چھپائی گئی غیر ملکی منشیات آئس (Crystal Methamphetamine) برآمد ہوئی ۔ ڈرائیور اور کنڈکٹر کو موقع پر گرفتار کر کے ان کے خلاف ایف آئی آر درج کر لی گئی۔
برآمد شدہ منشیات میں بیرون ملک ساختہ منشیات کے 15 پیکٹس شامل تھے جو آئس (Crystal Methamphetamine)سے مشابہ تھے، جن کا مجموعی وزن 15,350 گرام اور نمونہ لینے کے بعد خالص وزن 15,200 گرام نکلا۔ برآمدہ منشیات کی مالیت کا تخمینہ اکانوے کروڑ روپے جبکہ ضبط شدہ بس کی مالیت ڈیڑھ کروڑ روپے ہے۔ یوں کیس کی کل مالیت کا تخمینہ ساڑھے بانوے کروڑ روپے ہے۔
برآمد شدہ منشیات کو جے سی پی امان میلہ سے سرکاری گودام منتقل کیا جا رہا تھا کہ کسٹمز عملے پر نامعلوم شرپسندوں/دہشت گردوں نے حملہ کر دیا اور کسٹمز عملہ پر براہِ راست اور اندھا دھند فائرنگ کی گئی۔ حملے کا مقصد بظاہر ضبط شدہ منشیات کی بھاری مالیت کے پیشِ نظر کسٹمز اہلکاروں کو نقصان پہنچانا تھا۔ تاہم کسٹمز ٹیم کی بروقت، جرات مندانہ اور پیشہ ورانہ کارروائی کے باعث تمام اہلکار اور قبضے میں لی گئی منشیات محفوظ رہیں۔
اس دوران پاک فوج اور پولیس کے جوان فوری طور پر موقع پر پہنچ گئے اور کسٹمز عملے کو فوری مدد و سیکیورٹی فراہم کی۔ انہوں نے کسٹمز ٹیم اور برآمد شدہ منشیات کے سامان کو بغیر کسی جانی یا مالی نقصان کے بحفاظت سرکاری گودام ڈی آئی خان تک پہنچانے میں مدد کی۔
یہ کامیاب کارروائی ایف بی آر کے اسمگلنگ اور منشیات کی تجارت کے خلاف پرعزم ہونے کی آئینہ دار ہے۔
