RTO-II Karachi Detains Three Trucks Carrying 1,800 Sugar Bags with Fake Track & Trace Stamps
Islamabad; Jan 5, 2026: In an enforcement operation conducted in collaboration with Inland Revenue Intelligence & Investigation (I&I), the Regional Tax Office (RTO)-II, Karachi intercepted and detained three trucks transporting sugar with counterfeit Track & Trace System (TTS) stamps.
The operation was carried out at Sassi Toll Plaza on the National Highway, where the vehicles were found carrying a total of 1,800 bags of sugar reportedly from Chambar Sugar Mills. The detained vehicles include trucks bearing registration numbers TKA-042, SDA-899, and AE-1488.
The interception forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with the Track & Trace regime, curb tax evasion, and prevent the illegal movement of essential commodities. Upon detection of fake TTS stamps, the vehicles were immediately detained and shifted to the NIPA Premises of RTO-II, Karachi for further investigation and necessary legal action.
Further proceedings will be carried out in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

ریجنل ٹیکس آفس -II کراچی نے ان لینڈ ریونیو انٹیلیجنس اینڈ انویسٹی گیشن کے اشتراک سے کی گئی انفورسمنٹ کی ایک کارروائی میں جعلی ٹریک اینڈ ٹریس سسٹم (TTS) اسٹیمپس والی چینی کی ترسیل کرنے والے تین ٹرکوں کو ضبط کر لیا۔
یہ کارروائی قومی شاہراہ پر واقع سسی ٹول پلازہ پر کی گئی جہاں تین ٹرکوں میں بظاہر چمبر شوگر ملز کے مجموعی طور پر 1,800 چینی کی بوریاں موجود پائیں گئی۔ ضبط کیے جانے والے ٹرکوں کے رجسٹریشن نمبرز TKA-042، SDA-899 اور AE-1488 ہیں۔
یہ کاروائی ٹریک اینڈ ٹریس نظام پر عملدرآمد کو یقینی بنانے، ٹیکس چوری کی روک تھام اور اشیائے ضروریہ کی غیر قانونی نقل و حرکت کو روکنے کی جاری کوششوں کا حصہ ہے۔ جعلی ٹی ٹی ایس اسٹیمپس کی نشاندہی پر گاڑیوں کو فوری طور پر تحویل میں لے کر مزید تفتیش اور ضروری قانونی کارروائی کے لیے آر ٹی او-II، کے نیپا نیپا پریمسسز میں منتقل کر دیا گیا۔
مزید کارروائی متعلقہ قوانین اور ضوابط کے مطابق عمل میں لائی جائے گی۔
