Tax Awareness Educational Session on Filing of Income Tax return held in Pearl Continental Hotel, Rawalpindi

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), through its Taxpayers Services Wing, organized a Tax Awareness Session on filing of filing of income tax return at Pearl Continental Hotel, Rawalpindi, dated i.e. 23-10-2025. The initiative was undertaken under the directions of Chairman FBR Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial and Member Taxpayer’ Services (TPS) Wing Ms. Tehmina Aamer, organized a Tax Awareness Session on Income Tax Return Filing for tax year 2025 at the Pearl Continental Hotel, Rawalpindi.

The FBR team was led by Mr. Muhammad Muti-ur-Rehman Mumtaz, Secretary (Tax Education & Facilitation) accompanied by Mr. Abdul Rehman, Second Secretary (Tax Facilitation), along with other officials from the Taxpayers’ Services Wing. Representing Pearl Continental Hotel, the session was attended by Mr. Mujtaba (Director Finance), Mr. Hamza Junani (Manager Learning & Development), various Heads of Departments, and other staff members. In his opening remarks, Mr. Muhammad Muti-ur-Rehaman Mumtaz provided a comprehensive overview of FBR’s functions, highlighting its role in promoting tax compliance and facilitating taxpayers.

Following this, Mr. Abdul Rehman delivered a detailed presentation on the process of filing online income tax returns and the key features of FBR’s digital platforms. The participants took a keen interest in the session and raised various queries related to tax filing and compliance, which were addressed comprehensively by the FBR team. The attendees appreciated FBR’s proactive approach in promoting a tax-complaint culture and acknowledged the department’s continued efforts to build trust and transparency through such outreach initiatives. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, followed by the distribution of souvenirs among participants as a token of appreciation. FBR remains committed to enhancing taxpayer facilitation and strengthening voluntary tax compliance through continuous education and awareness activities across the country.
