The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), through its Taxpayers Services Wing, organized a Tax Awareness Session on filing of filing of income tax return at Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Rawalpindi, dated i.e. 16-09-2025.

On the instructions of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial and Member Taxpayer’ Services (TPS) Wing Ms. Tehmina Aamer, the Taxpayers’ Services Wing conducted a Tax Awareness Session on how to File Income Tax Return Online for Tax Year 2025 at Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (RCCI). The session was held as part of FBR’s Tax Awareness Outreach Activity.

The FBR team comprised Secretary Compliance Ms. Kiran Zahra, Second Secretary Mr. Zafar Iqbal Khan, Audit Officer Mr. Abdul Rehman Sheikh and other officials of the Taxpayers’ Services Wing. The session was chaired by President RCCI Mr. Usman Shaukat, organized by Senior Vice President Mr. Khalid Farooq Qazi and attended by senior office bearers along with member of the business community and trade representatives.

Secretary Compliance Ms. Kiran Zahra brief the presentation on the structure and overall functions of FBR. This was followed by a detailed presentation by Audit Officer on the procedure for filing online income tax returns. Presentations actively engaged in the session and raised queries pertaining to return filing and tax compliance, which were addressed comprehensively by the FBR team.
President RCCI appreciated the FBR’s initiative for promoting tax awareness, strengthening taxpayer facilitation and fostering a culture of voluntary compliance among taxpayers.
