The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), through its Taxpayers Services Wing, organized a Tax Awareness Session on filing of income tax return at State Bank Head Office, Islamabad, dated i.e. 02-09-2025.

On the instructions of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial and Member Taxpayer’ Services (TPS) Wing Ms. Tehmina Aamer, the Taxpayers’ Services Wing organized a tax awareness session at the Head Office of State Bank of Pakistan, Islamabad. This session was part of FBR’s ongoing outreach program aimed at raising public awareness about tax procedures and promoting a culture of tax compliance.

The FBR team consisted of Secretary Compliance, Ms. Kiran Zahra, Second Secretary (Tax Education), Mr. Zafar Iqbal Khan, and other staff members of the Taxpayers’ Services Wing. Upon arrival at the State Bank of Pakistan, the team was warmly welcomed by Senior Deputy Chief Manager, Mr. Imtiaz Ali and the staff of the State Bank of Pakistan.

In her introductory remarks, Secretary Compliance briefed the participants in detail about FBR’s role in national economic growth. Second Secretary (Tax Education) delivered presentation on filing income tax returns including practical demonstration of newly introduced simplified income tax return form.
