The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), through its Taxpayers Services Wing, organized a Tax Awareness Session on filing of filing of income tax return at Fauji Fertilizer Head Office, Rawalpindi, dated i.e. 27-08-2025.
On the instructions of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial and Member Taxpayer’ Services (TPS) Wing Ms. Tehmina Aamer, The Taxpayers’ Services Wing conducted two separate tax awareness sessions at the head office of Fauji Fertilizer Company in Rawalpindi.
These sessions formed part of FBR’s ongoing outreach program aimed at enhancing public awareness to tax procedures and encouraging a culture of compliance.
The first session was held for the executive management and the second for the staff of the company. Zafar Iqbal, Second Secretary (Tax Education), gave a presentation on FBR’s role in national economic growth, the tax collection system, and the benefits of timely filing of tax returns. A step-by-step demonstration of the recently introduced digitized and simplified income tax return form was also provided to the audience for their facilitation. The session were attended by Ms. Maryam Basit, Senior Executive (L&D, HR), along with senior officials and staff of the company. Both sessions concluded with an interactive question and answer segment, followed by the distribution of souvenirs among the participants.
