The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), through its Taxpayers Services Wing, organized a Tax Awareness Session on filing of filing of income tax return at Askari Bank, Learning Center, F-8 Markaz, Islamabad, dated i.e. 26-08-2025.
On the directions of Chairman FBR, Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial and Member Taxpayer’ Services Ms. Tehmina Aamer the Taxpayers’ Services Wing (TPS) organized an educatory session at Askri Bank Limited Learning Center, Islamabad. The initiative aimed at promoting understanding of tax-related procedures and encouraging voluntary tax compliance across the country. Upon arrival, the FBR team, comprising Secretary Compliance, Ms. Kiran Zahra, and Second Secretary (Tax Education), Mr. Zafar Iqbal Khan, was warmly received by Mr. Sabir Mumtaz, Chief HR Officer of Askari Bank, along with other senior staff members. Following introductory remarks by Secretary Compliance, a detailed presentation on key tax procedures was delivered by Second Secretary (Tax Education). To further facilitate participants, a live demonstration was conducted on the recently introduced simplified income tax return form, highlighting its users-friendly, digitized features designed to make return filing easier for taxpayers.
Executive staff members from Askari Bank branches located within territorial jurisdiction of Islamabad attended the session in person, while employees from branches across Pakistan joined virtually.
