The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), through its Taxpayers Services Wing, organized a Tax Awareness Session on filing of filing of income tax return at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries G-8/1, Islamabad, dated i.e. 19-08-2025.
On the instructions of Chairman FBR Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial and Member Taxpayers’ Services Wing Ms. Tehmina Aamer, TPS Wing organized a tax awareness session at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCI). The initiative is part of FBR’s facilitation drive to foster better understanding of tax system and promote a culture of tax compliance in Pakistan. At the outset, Secretary Compliance of TPS Wing Ms. Kiran Zahra gave introductory remarks which was followed by comprehensive briefing on the tax structure and overall working of FBR by Second Secretary (Tax Education) Mr. Zafar Iqbal Khan. The audience was apprised about various reform initiatives and measures being undertaking by FBR to enhance efficiency and performance of tax collection mechanism.
The participants were also given a virtual presentation on how to file their income tax return on the newly introduced simplified income tax return form. President ICCI Mr. Nasir Mansoor Qureshi.
and other office bearers of Chamber were also present on the occasion. The even concluded with detailed question & answer session followed by distribution of souvenirs among the participants.
