FBR CONDUCTS TAX AWARENESS SESSION AT AL RAHIM GROUP OF COMPANIES IN KARACHI ON DECEMBER 26TH, 2025
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), through its Taxpayers Services Wing, organized a Tax Awareness Session at The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Islamabad dated i.e. 18-12-2025. The initiative was undertaken under the directions of Chairman FBR Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial and Member Taxpayers’ Services Wing Ms. Tehmina Aamer, the Federal Board of Revenue, through its Taxpayers’ Services Wing (TPS), organized a comprehensive Tax Awareness Session at HUM Tv Network in Karachi on December 18th, 2025.
The FBR delegation included Abdul Hameed Abro, Secretary Taxpayers' Services Wing (TPS), and Tariq Asad, Second Secretary Taxpayers' Services Wing Abro delivered a comprehensive presentation on the significance of timely and voluntary tax compliance, emphasizing that such practices are funda mental duties of both individuals and corporate entities. He urged all taxpayers to be transparent and responsible while filing their sales tax and income tax returns, highlighting that dishonesty and delays in tax filings are detrimental to the state's economic health and long-term interests.
In his address, Abro elaborated on various tax laws and regulations, encouraging participants to comply with tax obligations voluntarily and punctually. He also emphasized that FBR's ongoing efforts to expand the tax base include initiatives like holding of such seminars, which are designed to educate the public on the essential rules and principles of taxation. The ultimate goal is to foster inclusivity in the tax system, which will help in enhancing national revenue.
The session concluded with a productive inter active discussion, where participants actively engaged with FBR officials to gain clarity on tax-related matters. The management of Al Rahim. Group of Companies expressed their appreciation for FBR's efforts and commitment to promote public education in the realm of taxation.
