FBR's Information Technology DG (IT & DT) plays a crucial role in planning, designing, and managing critical IT infrastructure hardware, software, and digital platforms that enable the tax administration system in Pakistan. The Directorate General (IT & DT)  is pioneering the integration of cutting-edge technology solutions, propelling FBR into a future defined by seamless connectivity, ease-of-use, streamlined processes and enhanced productivity inline with the prevalent taxation laws in Pakistan.

 

Headed by Directorate General (IT & DT). It  is divided into three workstreams: Systems, Business Domain Team (BDT) and Business Process Re-engineering (BPR).
